Default Fat Spoke wheels

I have a 2010 Road Glide and I am
thinking about installing fat spoke
wheels. I was wondering if one
brand is better than another. I am
also wondering how hard they are
to clean. If anyone has some input
it would be greatly appriciated.

I'm running DNA Mammoth Spokes... I researched the hell out of them and while others have had issues, I have not. Very reasonably priced, I've previously run Ridewright wheels and to me, these are every bit as good. No issues at all with cleaning them and love the look.

I run DNA Mammoth spoke also, great wheel, best price out there, their customer service is a little slow but at 1/2 the price of others who cares

I've always heard ride wrights are the best. Alot of people run DNA too but some have complained about then leaking and having to run a tube. Either way they both look sick

the trouble with leaking is and issue with all fat spoke wheels, the problem is with fat spokes you can't put the valve stem on the top flatest part of the rim because there is no room, so they put it on the flat part of the curve(look at the pics above) this gives you very little area to work with to get a good seal, if you over tighten it or under tighten it they will leak, my friend runs RWW Fat Spoke and we where in North Carolina and he got a valve stem leak, luckily a car tire shop could fix it , on my DNA I over tightened one when installing my tires and it leaked, I chose to run tubes in both and not take the chance as I do a lot of riding in the middle of no where, spoked rims even if they seal the spokes are always better with tubes because of the location of the valve stem, my thoughts from experience with several manufacturers

Ride Wrights are far better quality. Having sold products from both vendors this is my personal experience. I no longer sell DNA's as we had so many problems with them.

I think I am going to pass on the fat spoke rims. I do not want to run a tub.
