Anyone have any problems with the down and/or out? My SG is raised 1-1/4" in the back with Ohlins and I am still scraping them occasionally. Not sure I want down or out??
Exact same set up here. Scraped once...looked after that with the following mod...real easy to do

As mentioned, I scraped once. Had a look and found the following issue. All credit to member nevada72 for coming up with this fix.
Update on the Tall Boys lowering kit. The other day I bottomed out for the 1st time turning left. It was on a bumpy street so my guess is when the suspension compressed in the turn, I scraped. When I was working on the bike the other day I saw where I touched down. It's a very square part of the mount and I reasoned that if cut at an angle, there would be more clearance and still be strong. So I broke out the band saw and went to work. Here's the results.
Moving the floorboards seem like a mute point to me if you can not move the controls (Clutch and brake) forward also. JayBrake fwds are wicked expensive any other forward control options other than JayBrake fwds?
My issue with the extended shifters is that I like to use both toe and heel shifters. If you move the boards forward you really only want to toe extended but they come in pairs (from HD)
