Bug? hit forehead, felt like a rock
Yesterday I got hit by a bug and checked for blood. Must have been a June bug, man did it hurt. Was going about 60 mph and following a car, saw it out of the corner of my eye and bam! This was the worst one ever and thankfully this only happens about once a year.

what kind of windshield did you have on? some people like those short ones for looks without any common sense Rocks and bugs have smacked my stock shield more that once, i ve read on more than one web site you should look over the shield

I have a stock windshield and 99% of the time the bugs end their lives on it instead of my head. But every now and then I catch one from the cross side. That 1% still hurts. I remember one time a couple years ago. We were night riding and one of those large green moths hit just right on the edge of the windshield and splattered. 1/2 on me the other 1/2 on the windshield. It didnt hurt but made a nasty mess. Didnt tast too good either.

piece of some kind of fruit fell down from a tree yesterday( shield could not help) hit me on the right forearm, left purple crap up to ellbow and felt like someone frogged my arm. You just can't get away from everything can ya?

Those big black "corn bugs" back in Indiana used to hurt like H*ll. Out here and especially this year after the cool/wet winter you get hit by swarms. Usually grasshoppers or bees but it is like running into machine gun fire! (well.......bug version anyway)
