Hey Doug,
Yeah, macho to me is being able to satisfy me and the wife, not having to worry about where you're going to bungee stuff on, getting where you're going and unas---- the trailer and go taking in the highlights of the area, stopping at a roadside park and having lunch from the cooler on front, stuff like that. I'm getting the Bushtec hitch installed on my '06 Ultra next weekend and headed out. I love the trailer. Had it for 16 years and it looks like new. I am going to have it color matched to the Ultra. Oh, by the way, I had one of the first '75 Goldwings in my area. Take care and maybe I'll see you on the road pulling your Bushtec.
I have a starlite trailer as well and it does pull very well. As far as the swaying and loading the trailer, I put most of the heavy stuff towards the back and the medium to lite stuff in the middle and front because if you go over 30 lbs on the tounge weight, the front wheel of the bike will be a little light and start to wobble around corners.
Just learn how to pack and take test rides before you go on each trip. Youll get the hang of it and ITS GREAT to have the stuff iin your trailer to go camping with.
Have fun.
