I picked my bike up a couple weeks ago from my final tune. My dealer has told me from the begining their dyno is "conservative", but I thought it would have put down a little better numbers. The bike feels stronger and drives good. I just think it feels a little soft down low. Here are the build specs and dyno. Opinions?
T-Man 103 h.o.
10.5 compression
stage three heads
625 cam
s.e. roller rockers
s.e. 58mm tb (port matched)
s.e. ventillator ac
Fatcat w/ standard baffle
The a/f did not print on the sheet. I verified on the dyno screen a almost flat 13.
Looks like you picked up 30+ hp and tq over stock. Not to shabby especially if you say it runs and rides good.
I was the same way with my build. Disappointed with the peak numbers, but the torque jumps up and peaks at about 2800 rpm and stays flat until right at 5k. Rides great, gets 40-41 mpg, and pulls like a tractor even in 6th gear.
Like Phil says.... You can't ride that dyno sheet. Keep in mind also that every tuner and every dyno is different. Runs from day to day will even be different on the same dyno with the same tuner. The most important thing is that it's tuned properly to give you a great ride, not necessarily on the ragged edge of pinging and burning up.
The have seen a lot of good torque curves with the T-man 625. Could the tb be to big for my application? I thought it was just being port matched to the heads. I did a compression check the other day. When I removed the air cleaner to open the throttle blade I noticed the intake looks fully ported.
