I got mine from Denniskirk, this was last year and it looks like they have gone up in price a little, I am sure you can find them on ebay too. Also look at eastern performance or try and find a Forum sponsor (i.e. Dr. V-Twin)that sells them.

Thanks for the info TheDon. I found a source for $330 new and shipped. I think the V&N is the way to go. Then I can change out slip on mufflers as needed. Did you see any performance loss when changing from stock? Ive read you loose a little torque. Although I dont really understand why. If you are using a baffled exhaust you are still getting back pressure... The only thing you are loosing going to a true dual is the equalized pressure between front and rear cylinders.

Your right you still have backpressure but that is not what is helping you, the stock exhaust has the same scavaging effect as a 2 into 1, personally I didn't notice much if any difference, but I spend most my time in the 2500-3000 RPM range (lots of Highway) where the duals will outperform the 2 into 1.
