I have a '02 FLHTC, 103" stroker build with all screamin' eagle parts, pretty much no stock parts left other than the basic case.
I was riding it to work today and my radio kind of faded out for a split second, my speedo went from 70mph to 0 mph then back to normal, then radio came back to normal, happened two times in a row for a second each time. And my engine dummy light came on, then off? Anyone have a clue what this could be?

 

Sounds like an electrical short for just a second.

 

Do you think it could be a stator? I don't think so just because I heard when they go, they go now. But just a thought?

 

Doubt it is a stator, probably a wire making intermittemt contact.
