How many miles are too many...

my buddies Fatboy has 96k on it! he's taking a trip from Illinois to Maine this summer...that will give him his 49 states..then he's going accross all the Canadian Provinces and down to Sturgis! the thing is spotless too and chromed out to the max....he's retiring it when he hits 100k

I wouldn't let the mileage bother me. You can tell what kind of miles are on the bike buy riding it and looking in detail at it (flashlight helps). If your still on the fence, have a friend look at it or a local indy. I'm sure everyone here on the forum can give you any answers you need about things that might not seem right.
I've had some friends with that many miles tell me the bike is finally breaking in and running the way they like it.
