I wear a full face modular, year round. I have a vega helmet, cheap too...about 130$ online, does a good job of keepin the noggin safe. DOT approved, but I don't think it is snell certified though...

Well, some won't call Phoenix winter cold but, I wear a 3/4 helment with a face shield.

i will wear a half helmet and a full face "crow" mask. Its design looks the the crow movie. got it from jp cycles

Winter time, northeast........wear a full face absolutely.....anything else and your wasting your time. I wear a full face year round and have been every since I put a leg over a motorcycle. Hitting your head/face at 35 mph with a helmet vs w/out one......one is gonna be a lot uglier.
