Adjustment might help. It might improve by turning the stalks so the upper-most portion (where it attaches to the mirror) is pointing straight back. If you extend an imaginary line beyond the upper-most portion of the stalk, it would be parallel to the center line of the bike. I still get some arm and elbow in the mirrors but this position seemed to minimize it.

Not quite. What I was refering to in my previous post was the angle of the upper-most portion of the stalk. You need to stand at the front of the bike to see it. Guess I should have mentioned that in my first post. The part of the stalk that attaches to the mirror is pointing straight back and is parallel to the bike's center line.This method actually pushed the mirrors further out than the 90 degree method on my bike.
