Default trouble seeing out of my mirrors

I have a 2010 ultra with the stock mirrors and have adjusted them a number of times. I see more of my arms then what's behind me. I have looked at the long stem mirrors but they look like all they are going to do is raise them higher. I think they need go out more, not higher. Does anyone know if they might make something that would help me?
Someone said to try the dual mirrors but the two mirrors screw with my eyes and I think they would do more harm than good.
Any suggestion would be appreciated

The extenders should help, because they will move them up, but also out depending on the angle of your housing that holds it.
I did bars on my bike last winter, and I can see the wife behind me now, they are out so far , and up so high, I love it.
I had faring mount mirrors, HATED them, you see your knuckles more than anything behind you.

Same problem on a 2011 Ultra. Not the best looking fix I've seen but Harley makes a two inch stem extension. Due to the slope on the bars it moves mirror up and out. Now just an edge of my shoulder is visible. Thought the mirror may vibrate more but I do not notice it. Long stem mirrors or wider pullback/apes would also work.

I am 6'3" and put the 1.5 or so extensions on them. Helped me. Also be sure when the bars are straight the stems are straight out to insure you are getting the maximum width. I am also running a non stock set of pull back and slight wider bar set then the standard that came on my bike. I think they are slanted out when you put them like I describe and with the extensions they go out also. I think the extensions look better then the long stem mirrors by themself. However I made my own from cres hex extension nuts from McMasters on my Lathe

I had the same problem, just looked at my elbows. I bought the Harley Split-Vision Mirrors and they worked great.

I would have to agree with most of the others to try the extensions. I tried the fairing mount mirrors and didn't like them, couldn't see anything but my arms.

Same problem. 2011 Ultra, I'm 6'2" and all I could see in the mirrors was my arms/elbows. I was also looking through the top 1 1/2 " of the windshield and has some distortion. I was planning on getting a new shorter windshield and mirror extensions. I knew the handlebars were low but never got to adjust them. Bike went to the dealership for 1000 mile service and machanic came talk to me. He asked if I wanted him to raise the handlebars since I'm tall and it would take him 5 minutes. Said that he will raise them as far as they would go. When I got on the road I can now see over the windshield and just a tad of elbow. The handlebars were so low it had me squating to reach them and I didn't even feel it.

You could try a set of the Clear View Police Mirrors. They are quite a bit higher and wider and lenses are square. I didn't care for the look, but you might. I have a set from my FLHP. I haven't looked at them since I brought it home, but I'd send you pictures if your interested.
