I have a buddy that bought one everyone told him they run big .
Well no they don't he sold it to another friend and bought a larger one .
but the feed back i got from both of them is they run small and are
louder
than what they had before. But both of them are very happy
with the helmets. Just go try the lid on before you by one ...

I bought one a couple of weeks ago. I got the new "Series 2" model that corrected a couple of complaints - the biggest one was the internal sun shield didn't come down far enough. I tried both models and would recommend getting the new model. I see the older model on sale so... I've worn Large helmets for as long as I can remember... I had to buy a medium and it fits fine. Some comments - the internal sun visor works great, the chin piece is easy to open and to the flip back, gotta give it bit of a whack to move it back to the front position but it's easy enough to do while riding, the noise in the full face mode is good - not fantastic. First day I rode with it I had it on for 4 hours and the temps got into the low 80s - didn't feel too heavy or too warm and when the day warmed up it was nice to open the helmet up and ride in the 3/4 mode. Balance with the chin piece up and down is really good. It does sit lower on my brow than my other helmets - could just be the way I'm wearing it. The one compliant I have and I need to look at is the face visor vibrates when I ride with it up - does this in both the full and 3/4 modes. I ride a RK so I'm behind a windshield but it feels more stable than my 1/2 when I have my feet up on the pegs. A local gear shop was having a 10% discount so I got for about what the originial models are on sale for. Would I recommend it to my friends - Yes. Sorry for the rambling...
Thanks br,when I call Iam going to ask if its the Series II or not, dont want a older carry over,I did notice in the write up from 08 Euro and 09 USA there were noise issues with the full face down and the venting didnt rate all that well but over all they gave it a good rateing. The biggest downfall was the weight on both reviews, weighs in at 4lb.04oz.....I feel it won't be a issue wearing it behind a windshield but without a shield might be a bit trying on the neck and I just got my brace off(14 weeks) from major neck surgery so I want to make sure this is a good helmet...
I bought an XL and it fits perfectly. I would normally wear a large to x-large in other helmets. I wear the face shield up most of the time as most of my riding is non-interstate. If I'm out on the Interstate, I'll put the face guard down. As for noise, it does not seem to be any louder than any other modular helmet, but I have hearing issues, so I can't say much on that subject. The sun visor works fine and comes down far enough. I do have the Series 2 and I do ride with a windshield.
If what you can get is a Series 2 at that price, then that's a fairly good deal.
