I had no problem at all on mine. Took all of 10 minutes.
+1...the only thing I did different from the instructions was use zip ties to secure it instead of the the velcro (something I saw on an install video on youtube).
The only issue is space for the PCV and the AT modules if you are using them. The only other issue is that the rear sensor for the 08 is a very close fit...it does work and will go in..

Cool, as long as its onlt fit and not function I can make it work. I am no mechanic, I can bolt on chrome and do oil changes but thats about it. Not even sure this is what I need and if its not plug and play it has to go to the doc. My head spins when I try to read the PCV threads!
Mine fit without a problem and I even left the USB cable on in case I ever need to download another map from Jamie. I'd only have to remove the side cover.
I helped a friend install his a few weeks ago. The PCV is MUCH smaller than my PCIII was. We installed it at an angle so that the USB cable could be left in place coiled up behind the side starboard panel in case he needed to make any adjustments.
The PCV is a 10 minute install. The autotune is another story, you have to swap out the O2 sensors, plus run and hide the wires from them to the autotune modules. The wire for the front O2 sensor needs to go under the gas tank, so you have to fiddle around with that. Then you have to find space for all three modules close to each other. I dorked up the threads for one of my O2 sensor bungs, and had to take the entire exhaust system off the bike to take the head pipe in to a muffler shop so they could fix the bung. I took a 45 minute job, and stretched it out to about 3 hours and a trip to the muffler shop.

That would be me and the pictures show the angle we were able to install it at. Thanks again Scott for your help. We need to hook up so I can hear your D&D's.
Got around to installing my slip-ons last night, and my air cleaner tonight, then it was time for the PCV. I plugged in the PCV, and put on the 2 O2 sensor eliminators. Is that all there is to it? Seemed almost too easy...
