Default Tips for installing PCV

I am doing a stage 1 on my 09 FLHT with ABS, got a Performance Machine Super Gas air cleaner, Vance and Hines Blackout Rounds mufflers (suppose to arrive on Monday), and PCV from FuelMoto. I have heard that the PCV can be a pain in the rear to install, so wondering if you guys have any tricks, secrets, or tips for making it easier? Looking forward to my Harley sounding like a Harley, and the cooler running temps.

Thanks in advance!

I had no problem at all on mine. Took all of 10 minutes.

I think the install on '09's is pretty straight forward. It's the '08's with ABS that can be problematic.

Lots of info about the install on the PC site. There is a video there. I found it real easy, took no time and then the download was a piece of cake. I have been really happy with the PCV, big sucker and monster ovals. hope you enjoy the results of your stage 1.

It's really easy... even on my Limited with all the other crap under the seat. You just gotta mess with the big connector a little to get it to tuck down in front of the battery. It will become evident once you do it..

Very simple install... I took a little extra time to play with getting the wiring just right.

This is a gel that is put on electrical connection points to prevent corosion and to keep out water. You can get it at Autozone/any parts stores.

I was wondering where you put it specifically. On every point or only on the big connectors between the ECM and PCV?

Just apply some to the main and J1850 (if applicable) connectors when you plug it together. The idea is to prevent water from entering the connector. Most areas on touring bikes are protected well enough, but it doesn't hurt to add it for a little insurance. I had my PCIII connected without it for two years with no problems, but when I upgraded to the PCV-AT I used it.
