Zero the throttle? What does that mean. I already started the bike up and revved it a few times to hear it... did I do something wrong?

Very easy to install on an 09 touring bike, very difficult on some of the softails. Mostly due to no room under the seat to install, or the ecm connector buried deep. Installation on my rocker was a pain in the ****. but a breeze on both my Street glide and Ultra.

You may be fortunate and the throttle is zeroed.
Best to load the software on a laptop or close by PC an go from there.

Do what from there? I don't mean to sound dumb, but this is my first EFI bike and I don't have a clue about maps/fuel regulators. I put on pipes (V&H Blackout Rounds), and was told that a new air cleaner and PCV would cool down the bike and get rid of the decel popping.... just got back from a quick ride on the freeway, and they did neither. Got the PCV from Fuel Moto. I will give them a call tomorrow.

I had never done it before, I got it installed on my 08 in about 1 1/2 hours start to finish. A little tight on making the connection on the main harness, but it fits under the side cover and works very well. I was intimidated until I got started, it really is very easy.

All procedures below should be done at normal operating temperature:

'07 and earlier (non-TBW): Connect the PCV to the computer and turn on ignition but don't start the bike. Look at the digital gauges and notice the Throttle Position, which should show "0", then apply full-throttle which should then show "100%". If it doesn't show zero at idle or WOT doesn't show "100" go to Device Tools > Calibrate > Throttle Calibration and click on "Reset." Roll the throttle to full and return to idle, then go back to the main window and recheck. If WOT shows 98-99% that's close enough, but idle should be at 0%. If not, redo the calibration.

'08-'09 (TBW): Check throttle position at idle (motor running), and if it doesn't show "0" go to Device Tools > Calibrate > Throttle Calibration, but don't click on "Reset". Never use the Reset function on a TBW bike. Set Min. Voltage to 0.7v and Max. Voltage to 4.3v if it isn't there already. I don't know the spec for '10 models, but it's probably the same.

So I checked mine and it was changing from 2 to 3 than from 1 to 2 but never Zero. I followed your instructions and confirmed the throttle position settings were already at .7 and 4.3.

Started my bike again and it stayed at 1 but again not Zero.

Does it need to be warmed up? The bike was still cold when i was checking this.

09 Street Glide BTW
