I checked the K&N as well as HD web sites and could not find just the filter either place. Matter of fact I didn't even find the Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather at K&N. I will call them Monday but again, if anyone knows where to get them please let me know.

Lol... It's not the cleaning part. It's the oiling part. I hate when it drips down on the cam cover.

I don't have enough time to do everything I want to do, so I do it exactly like NMNSG08.
$80 wasn't too much of a hit. Clean it, recharge it and wrap it in glad wrap. Too easy.

a little water in the motor wont hurt the bike at all, it's less water than riding in the rain. Anything sucked up will vaporize into steam and out the exhaust. Alot of water (submerging the intake) will hydrolock and destroy any motor. The only problem with not waiting to dry is that oil doesnt like water and an oil-less filter collects less dirt. Sucking a slightly water damp filter is much less stressfull on the filter than an oil damp one, which of course, it designed for.
