Tucson isn't even supposed to reach 80 today. This is the coolest Spring I can remember. If this is Global Warming, I like it so far. Southern AZ is usually in the high 90s by now and some years we've already hit 100 before Memorial Day.

Tell me about it. It's only hit 100 a couple of times so far this year and one day last week I think I might have seen a hint of a cloud in the sky. I wish this nasty winter would end already. BRING ON THE WARM WEATHER!!!
I hear ya. I rode the Front Range and we chose not to ride up in the canyons. We had snow last week and the CDOT guys dumped a bunch of gravel. Personal choice is NOT to ride mountain roads freshly graveled!
Hopefully by Memorial Day, our mountain roads will be clear. The way the wind is howling a steady 40MPH now, all gravel should be blown clear.
Temps are nice, but the wind adds some excitement. The batwing can have a "sail" effect on a crosswind I found out about an hour ago!
Summer showed with a vengeance here yesterday, 92 and 85% humidity, the ride to and from work was reasonable but stops were gross. Today the high heat pop-up thunderstorm weather arrived.
It was a balmy 28 on Lizardhead pass and snowing hard this morning. You would think as hard as the wind has been blowing out of the south some of that warm air would get here someday.
I'm tired of leaning when there's no curve in the road.
I dunno; we just got a massive amount of rain here in SD. Good thing it isn't 30 degrees cooler or we'd have snow up to our excretment holes. I think winter is a 6-7 month season anymore, and the other 3 seasons fit in what's left after winter is done wtih us.
