Default oil leak
I have a 2007 ultra ,with about 16,000miles with the 5 year extended warranty
my question is,I have a very small oil leak seams to be on the left side and sometimes when
I park it in the garage after a long ride there is a few drops on the floor ,
Is any oil leak unacceptable ?I do have the warranty so it should be covered right?

I had the same issue on 07, it was leaking from the stator wear after long ride, drips out by the regulator. it got worse over time, I would get it fixed.

Sounds like a shift seal or transmission shaft seal.Have you been running synthetic in the trans?

My wife rides a 2007 Ultra and I have changed the fluids several times. Never had any problems with leaks.

No leaks are acceptable on late model cycles. Get the HD people to fix what you paid for.

Any type of oil leak is unacceptable - fix it - under warranty or not - IMO

+1 most likely the shifter seal, should be covered under warrantee

Very common. Get a mirror and slide it under the bike. You should see oil coming from the area between the primary and transmission. Doesn't hurt to ride the bike, but it will get worse as you ride.

Thanks for all the replys, Taking the wife to Reno for a few days
Then I'll take it to the dealer next week and get them going on it
