A buddy is a sheriff around here, gave me a copy of Ride Like a Pro, and has shown me some of what he does. I just found the course that the local police spray painted in a parking lot (in Framingham, MA if anyone is interested.) Jeeeeeeeez, though - I could barely make it around the OUTSIDE of some of those layouts. I thought I was much better than I really am. Then again, I'm probably good enough and there's seldom a real need to make an 18' circle, is there?
I'm not taking anything away from their skills, because they're probably much better riders than I am, but they're also riding bikes that weighh 300 lbs. less than mine does. Apples to apples guys.
