I hear there are a lot of people running this combo now. I just put in the wood's 6-6 cams w+4* advance gear.
Having a tough time finding map. I am using an old style SERT and my bike is an 08 RG (TBW).
If anyone has any kind of wood's 6(or 6-6) map, either SEPST, TTS, or SERT, I would love to get a look at it. Even if the format is different, I can copy the tables into proper format for 08/TBW/SERT.
I have tried several different maps and nothing close so far. SERT canned for 258's was about the closest but not really rideable.
I am getting my SERT converted to TTS and have an appointment for a dyno tune. but that's not for 3 weeks. Would like to ride the bike in the meantime at least a little. Any help or suggestions appeciated
Try calling Jamie at www.fuelmotousa.com. I run the wood's TW6-6 cams and stock top end, pulls hard! He will be able to give you a map like now. Good luck.
Adlerx,
I can think of three contacts that may help you find a map;
Bob Woods at Woods Cams
Scott at Hillside Cycle
Joe's Cycle in NY that has tuned a boatload of Woods 6 cams
Bob
I really think one of the 103/SE255 maps (there are a lot of them to choose from) should be close enough to give you decent rideability. Even with the headwork and different cams.
Seen alot of these map requests lately sure makes that Auto Tune down on the garage bench look like a nice lil project this long weekend. It also would take care of many of these problems really glad I went with the PCV and AT. Good luck I am sure Jamie at Fuelmoto has to have something closecan not beleive he would not and he is always so helpful to everyone.
I got the map worked out. Used a canned SERT map, #95 with a few changes with help from a former member here. It's an SE stage 3 w/258's build.
Map works damn good. Certainly well enough to ride for the couple of weeks until I get a real tune. Plug check, good.
SERT goes to TTS tomorrow for upgrade then real dyno in two weeks with TTS.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
BTW, the 255 maps would barely run the bike. Just FYI. Prior to build, that was my plan too but didn't work out so well. That's what really sent me scrambling after the the build was already complete.
