Thinking I might take off for Arkasas this weekend, where is your favorite place to eat and or drink when there? Are any parts of Ark. dry? Probably going to stay in the Northern half of state. Also are there must see places or places to stay?
thanks RB
Ride Highway 7 out of Harrison Ar. and eat at the Cliff House at Jasper Ar. This place is awesome! Highway 7 is a popular motorcycle road.
Mountain View Ar. good music and eat at a place call JoJo's. JoJo's is located in Allison Ar. that is about 6 mile from Mountain View.
Ride Highway 14 to Peal Ar. ride the ferry across the lake and you will ride into Missouri.
At Theodosia Mo. (10 miles from the Ar. line) eat at a place called Cookies.
Highway 14 is also a popular motorcycle road.
All of the above are in Northern Ar.
You will be in my neck of the woods so if you have any questions PM me and I will help you out.
There are NO bad riding roads in northern Arkansas, I absolutely loved the area when I rode it 2 years ago. My wife and I are considering it this summer too, but southwestern Colorado is the other contender.
We road Arkansas last year..the rain limited us on one of the days. The rest were awesome. I ordered the Arkansas Mad Map and combined some of their routes. Had a great time just wished that we would have stayed a night in Eureka Springs! Awesome town..very biker friendly. There's a hamburger joint close to the little HD shop that is pretty good...just can't remember the name?? Have a great weekend!
