Default Replacing the air temp sensor

2000 electra glide classic I need to know how challenging it is to change the air temp switch that is located in the throttle body? Are there any short cuts,to make the job more do it yourselfable?

If not about how much did anyone pay a dealer to complete this?

Thanks

For less than a dealer would charge, buy a manual (factory), and do it yourself. Very simple.

KJ - I sold my 00 EGC last Dec, I changed out all the sensors in a two month period trying to get a grip on a cold and hot idle issue I had, if it's the one I think it is you have to take off the throttle body to get to the inner screw that holds it to the throttle body. I could be wrong. Good luck.

Some people are confusing the ambient air temperature sensor in the fairing with the air temperature sensor in the throttle body for the FI. Obviously, they are not the same.
