I am thinking about completely removing the CB from my 1990 FLHTCU. I am never going to use it. Has anybody ever done it? Is there a cover or filler dash plate available once its removed? It will look horrible with it removed unless there is some sort of dash plate available.
I think I am also going to remove the large factory rear antenna and replace it with a shorty or maybe remove it completely and install one of those antenna's that mounts inside the fairing.

Also if you remove the antenna from the Tour Pak, you can leave the stud in place. Just cover it with a rubber vacuum cap. They come in various colors. Black is the color of the Ultra Rear Lights on the Tour Pak. I put the antenna inside my fairing. It cleaned up the Tour Pak a lot. Then I just rolled up the antenna line that went into the Tour Pak and tucked it under the side cover.
