First off, I searched. Now that's out of the way, can anyone refer me to a thread or provide instructions on hooking a computer to the power commander and sending a new map?
I've got the map in an email, need to get it on the Power Commander.
If its off the bike you can plug in an ac adaptor or an adaptor that uses a 9v battery. Then connect to computer using plug on power commander to a usb port. Then run the program for Power Commander and it will let you load a map on the program and then to the power commander itself.

I pulled my PCV off the bike and connected it to the USB port on my desktop computer and it worked fine. I was able to download the map and modify it then reload it. No batteries or adaptor.
You need to download Power Commander V Software V1.0.3.2 and install on your PC.. Load the map you want to put into the PCV into the Software and then send it to the PCV...

I got the cd to open and downloaded the PCV portion. When I clicked on the map from the email it opened. I took the laptop to the garage, and as soon as I plugged the computer into the PCV the power light came on. I hit send map and it looked like it did something computer-ish.
