Ordered and installed a Cee Bailey sheild on my '97 FLSTC. Replaced the original with a 2" cut down.
If quick delivery, great customer service and a good price is what you are after buy elsewhere.
If a great windsheild, quality, perfect fit and finish is what you want ..... I highly recommend Cee Bailey's.
The optical quality of the material they use is perfect (aircraft quality) and the thickness is about 2x stock. Really cut down on the buffeting on my Softail.
I read this forum just about every day. Jerry, Thanks for putting the windshield on Ebay. It should be here today.
I hate looking through the stock windshield on my 06 FLHTC. On my 92, I looked over the windshield.
I tried a 6" and love the look but hate the amount of wind it puts back at me.
Can't wait to see what the Cee Baileys does for me. I'll let you know
We'll i rolled the dice and got a 13" super step. It came in today and i immediately had to put it on and go for a ride. Only got a chance for a short rip on the highway. Below 60 it seems like total wind protection. I'm still not sure about the looks but ... It works pretty damn good. It really does quiet things down. Seems to wobble a bit when you get up around 70. really took care of the helmet buffeting but now i seem to get a little turbulance across my face. Not real bothersome just seems abit odd. Sight lines seem good on the highway but for back road use it might be a bit tall. Jury is still out but ... it's on the bike and it going to stay there for a while. Maybe I'll check back in six months witha long term test.
