+1 on the double stick golf tape. easy on. no mess. easy off. where do you get the water activated kind? I've either went with a solvent you can get that's used for putting on golf club grips or lighter fluid.

Make sure bike is secure on jiffy stand. Grab the grip with BOTH hands. Twist it one way and hold form for a few seconds, then quickly, with all your might, jerk it back the opposite direction. Do this a few times if it doesnt break the first time, it WILL come loose.

Use lighter fluid. It will soften the glue.

I didnt read all the posts.

I take a very small diameter screwdriver and work it down the grip then work the nozzel from a can of WD40 in. Give it some good squirts, leave the nozzel in and start working it back and forth, it will come off.

If you need glue on a reinstall use a small amount of gorrilla glue, its mositure activated. Use a little, it will hold but will twist off pretty easy if you ever want to remove it.

Since you have been twisting and turning and jerking and nothing. It's time to bite the bullet and cut and buy new ones. You don't want to throw your back for a few bucks and how much more time do you want to keep waisting on the grips anyway.

Take a piece of stiff wire (coat hanger) and bend it into a Z shape. Slide one end of the wire as far as you can under the grip the crank on the other "handle" end like an organ grinder. The wire will walk around the grip separating the grip from the bars.
