Default Dyna beads

Has anyone had trouble with the dyna beads? just changed tires put on the elite 3's. Just don't feel right. Put 2 oz's in in each tire like the chart called for feels like a little bounce and seems like I have some drag like the motor is having a hard time getting up to the speeds its been running at. Anyone else have this problem?

No issues here…….new Metz's a few weeks ago and rides smooth as ever.

I advised my indy that I was using the beads and he said if they were out of balance more than 2 oz, the beads probably wouldn't work. I have no idea if this is true or not.

He then "spun" balanced my tires and just marked .75oz on one and 1oz on the other, I put the beads in & good to go.

I hope you get it figured out.

I've been using Dynabeads for 2 years, couple sets of tires in that time, work great!

Had same problem with one metz tire, removed beads and had tire balanced. Took 3 oz. to balance tire. I now balance tires and add ride-on sealer/balancer....smooth as glass.

A lot of times when you have the tire mounted to the wheel, they will use soapy water to install the tire. If you don't give it time to dry out first, the beads will clump up and though the tire out of ballance. Or the tire could be more than 2 oz. out to start with. I've been running the beads in mine with no probems yet.
