Missouri has a nice promotion for rider safety involving our head football Coach who rides. He does TV spots asking the driving public to watch for motorcycles while seated on his Road Glide. Also bill boards on main interstate highways. I was hit by an out of state driver 3 weeks ago and am still trying to get my bike back on the road. Maybe this weekend. I wish he had seen the ads or more importantly, ME!
This is a great idea. I'd really like to see Washington state do something like this. Get a celebrity to promote the campaign. Someone people notice and listen to. I know that the Seahawks have given a Harley as a gift to their coach. I wonder if there is anyone associated with the team who would support this? Great PR for the team too.
