I have two 77147-98A headsets (less than 4 months old) & both have the same problem with the connections at both ends of the cords. Everytime we stop, we have to wiggle the wires at the connections until we get them working properly again. It acts like broken wires. No, they haven't been abused either. I'm ready to either replace the cords with something aftermarket or get aftermarker headsets. Any suggestions? Lookinmg at J&M headsets but hate to spend the $500.

 

I had the same issues, I then realized that the cord at the headset was not plugged in all the way to the lock. no problems since, good luck!

 

Ditto on the not plugged in all of the way. You really have to make sure they're bottomed out and locked (especially on the helmet)or everytime you move your head they'll lose their connection. I was ready to go complain and ask for replacements but I haven't had any issues since doing this.

 

I replaced mine twice in a year. The HD cord is junk.
