I have a 2010 Limited that has the SE AC, PCV, and Dyno Tuned Jackpot mufflers, all from Fuel Moto. The bike runs great at acceleration, sounds great, has fantastic power, but when I get it to a cruising speed every once in a while it will hiccup or miss. It keeps on running, and it is not a rythmic type miss. If I need to pass I roll on the the throttle and it keeps on going. Seems just a little annoying. Anyone else have this problem
Wow! When I was having this problem with my new Limited and Jamie's mods, no one had heard of it. Now it seems it affected more bikes that thought....Rest assured, Jamie's change to the ignition timing WILL cure the problem. He was excellent as usual when I had my "miss", and stayed in contact with me constantly while he tweaked the map. After I installed the new map, no more miss! I constantly refer my friends to Jamie as recently as last night, and will continue to do so. Great products and prices, but more importantly, service is top notch!
I've got the same setup as cchips and, while not experiencing any issues - wondering if Jamie is reading this thread and recommends moving to the newer map anyway?
I have a 2010 Steet Glide to which I just added a SE A/C, PC-V and the Fuel Moto Powertube slip-on. The install went very well; bike started fine and I went for a 20 mile ride. There was a definite improvement over stock and the sound was great. I let the bike sit for several hours and decided I would go out for another run tonight. When I started it, it seemed to be running on one cylinder. It cleared up after about 30 seconds and then dropped down to one cylinder several more times, once at a light where it recovered at about 10mph and took off...not a great feeling. I will call Fuel Moto tomorrow and report the results. This is just an FYI for everyone but I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem on a 2010. Thanks.

You likely already have the updated map, however if you would like a copy of the map just send me an email at jamie@fuelmotousa.com

I highly recommend checking the main PC-V/ECM connector and make sure the it is latched all the way. This is very critical on the 08 and newer models. For tech support you can contact us at 877-729-4754 and we are here to help.
What is this "hiccup/miss" that you guys are talking about? What does it feel and sound like? My bike is currently in the shop due to what feels like something periodically tapping the front end at highway speeds. Has been at the dealer for 3 days and they can't figure out what is wrong with it. Now that I think about it, I didn't have this problem before adding the PCV... wondering if some type of "hiccup" due to PCV could cause the feeling like something is tapping/hitting the frame of the bike.
Thanks for the quick response...your reputation is well deserved! I will check the PCV/ECM connection as you recommend. The mechanism seems to be fool proof but if anyone can screw it up, that would be me! Get back to you in a bit.
