I cut the tie wraps and checked both connectors and they were completely latched. I disconnected to check for bent pins - all OK. Bike is brand new (1100 miles) so dirt was not an issue. Also, I haven't washed or had it out in the rain since the install. It seems to run fine now but I won't have a warm and fuzzy about long rides. I will call to discuss when you guys open this morning...thanks again for the reply.
What is this "hiccup/miss" that you guys are talking about? What does it feel and sound like? My bike is currently in the shop due to what feels like something periodically tapping the front end at highway speeds. Has been at the dealer for 3 days and they can't figure out what is wrong with it. Now that I think about it, I didn't have this problem before adding the PCV... wondering if some type of "hiccup" due to PCV could cause the feeling like something is tapping/hitting the frame of the bike.
Can you by any more specific. My bike has now been in the shop for 5 days and they are no closer to determining what is going on. I am really starting to think that it is the PC-V. I called FuelMoto this morning and they said that while it could be the PC-V, it doesn't sound like it. Told me to disconnect it and take it for a spin without the PC-V connected. Just need to get my bike back to try.
Does anyone know if I need to reconnect the o2 sensor when I disconnect the PC-V?
Update...I called the guys at Fuel Moto to discuss my running on one cylinder issue. Since the bike is now running normally they recommended I wait to see if the issue reappears before we look into it further (can't fix it if it's not broken). I agree with this approach and will keep you updated. Further, I meant to order the chrome backing plate for the air cleaner but forgot it during the process. When I installed the unit I realized the backing plate is quite visible and I really wanted the chrome one. Fuel Moto agreed to a swap for just the differential in price (without question). They truly are a great outfit to work with!

I had the "hiccup" and installed the new map. The bike runs fantastic now. Before the new map, it felt like the fuel was cutting off for just a split second. Happened randomly, sometimes three times in one day, sometimes not at all.
I sent Jamie an email about the problem, received a phone call from him within the hour. Fantastic service and support.
Talked with Jamie and Keith at FuelMoto (super friendly guys), and they had me disconnect the PC-v from my bike and go for a ride. Sure enough when I got on the freeway doing 75-80mph there was no tapping feeling. Problem must be with PC-V. By the time I got home FM was already closed so I'll call them in the morning. Hopefully they can get this squared away and I'll be back on the road soon.
Might want to contact FuelMoto. One other poster on here had a bad map in his PCV he got from them.
I want to do the same as you to my Limited, but I do a lot of long distance touring and don't want to take a chance on reducing my bikes range. It gets about 43mpg at 75mph now, and almost everyone says that these modifications cause them to have reduced fuel economy.
Now there is a possibility of problems with the maps, I am doubley concerned.
36 to 40 mpg with my mods. But the bike is now a blast to ride!! I'll take smiles over miles any day!
My mods are: VH Dresser Duals, VH High output mufflers, VH Naked O2, SEST.
I highly recommend checking the main PC-V/ECM connector and make sure the it is latched all the way. This is very critical on the 08 and newer models. For tech support you can contact us at 877-729-4754 and we are here to help.
Jamie, I'm having the same problem. It does it very randomly and only does it when i'm less than 1/2 throttle. Hasn't done it in a while but i was wondering if there was something in the timing map i could change to see if it would fix the problem
I started a thead about this a couple of weeks ago.

It keeps on running, and it is not a rythmic type miss. If I need to pass I roll on the the throttle and it keeps on going. Seems just a little annoying. Anyone else have this problem

My problem was corrected with tweeking the power commander.
I haven't done or added a thing to my Limited and it runs great. No skipping or missing. Comming from an 03 Ultra, it has gobbs of power, sure don't need any more, but that's just me.
