Ordered Hogtunes POD and AMP, already have the speakers, last wednesday received them yesterday installed today. Had a small tech issue and called Hogtunes spoke to,I believe Cameron, who walked me thru the issue, took 30 seconds. The amp and POD Rock!!!!!!! Great customer service.
Very easy install.
I just installed mine last week and I still can't hear much at 75+
When I turn up the volume it gets louder then suddenly drops back down to bearly hearable.

Have you tried turning the automatic volume control off? Does that amp have gain adjustments? If it does, try turning down the gain level as the amp may be protecting itself if its getting to hot.

I agree with 2WheelGlider regarding turning down the AVC control. I find that on setting three sometimes if I turn the vol up too high I can hear the volume reduce through the speakers.
Try setting 2 or less and see if that helps. I can't comment to the amp gain reduction though, but it sounds plausible.
I have the new 160W amp, lower fairing speakers, and the HOGPOD to add to my existing Hogtunes system but I haven't had time to do the install as yet.
Hope you get it sorted and please let us know the result when you can.
