I just got a C&C today. Nice seats, great service and comfortable as can be. I visited their shop and test rode some as I live close and I am more than happy. Gonna put some miles on it tomorrow as I just got a few in tonight and I just picked it up today.
i have a streetglide also, and the seat and windshield both look great on the showroom floor, beyond that, they really suck. i replaced my seat with one from a similar year roadglide seat, and it doesn't look dorky at all, and is much more comfortable than the stock streetglide seat. in your case though, you would need to find an 08 or 09 roadglide seat because the 2010 roadglide uses the streetglide seat. 07 and earlier will not fit your 2010. i bought a sundowner first, and it was butt ugly, and the foam seemed to squish down to where i felt like i was sitting on the seat pan rather than a motorcycle seat.
If you're ok with the stock look, find a shop in your area that will trim foam and add gel. Here in the Denver area I know of two shops that will do whatever you want, all the way to custom stitching. All while using your stock seat tray. About 125.
I just got a CVO seat off a 2010 CVO FLHX sits yuo down about 1 to 1/2 in and its not as wide as the stock seat see pic

rcpilot..... I see that you said it lowered you down in the bike did it move you forward or back? The small cushion looks like it would push you forward. I am very interested in buying one but I can not risk being moved forward at all.

They look great and are comfortable and way cheaper than an aftermarket seat.
You should be able to pick one up for around $165. The one I bought had 100 miles on it.
They sit a little lower, a little farther back and is narrower in the front for better flat footing.
I didn't think I needed the narrower nose, but it was a nice surprise.
