Plasma Rods

I ended up using the quarter round, and painted the top of the quarter round black, the rest of it was painted red. Doesn't look bad, even my critical buddy says it doesn't look bad.
Also I have a set of 14" plasma rods, and one set of 8" I'm going to put them on my bike, hidden, or I can sell um! any ideas?

But there is a little twist here, I purchased (used) Streetglide saddlebag mounts, so when measuring the gap between the left side and the right side of the saddlebag and the filler panel there is a difference, the Indy installer, say, NO two Harley are symmetrical, there is always a difference.
I have 3/8s gap on the right side and 1/8th on the left side.
So when I was on a trip I had to rip the lights off the bike because the left side was dangling by the wires.
Now I'm stuck with two used lights that won't work.
My Indy had trouble wiring the lights up in the first place, he called C/D support 3 times. didn't like using the quarter round on the back side of the filler, said the lights were junk! along with the recommended setup!
Here is where I want feedback from those who purchased the Plasma lights.
Is there that much of a difference in space between the left and right sides? is the Setup that hard?
Could it be my used saddlebag mounts were involved in a accident?
and that is the reason for the space difference?
Bottom line, I really like the Plasma lights, and would like to find a way to use them again!
I do not have the set up that you are trying to do. However, in my opinion, I think that you will be able to do what you want to do. These lights are bright.
I would call Custom Dynamics directly by phone. I saw these people at the Delmarva Bike Week and they really know their products. I'm sure they can help you in making a decision.
Good luck,
