Another Plug for FuelMoto
So...here's the simple story. I'm converting my 2010 FLHX from stock 2->1 to Duals. I originally was going to go all out and get the FuelMoto 2/1/2 headpipe, Jackpot Mufflers, FuelMoto AC and PCV. Jamie even provided me a quote.
In my search for headshields, I came across an awesome deal on a 2010 HD Touring 2->2 header pipe with headshields, crossing pipe and mounting hardware. Couldn't pass it up. Then I came across someone on this board selling a Jackpot Muffler, FuelMoto AC and PCV package that they had installed for only 300 miles (wife didn't like the volume). He was offering it at a great price. Another offer I couldn't pass up.
So now I'm going to have a full 2->2 exhaust system (just w/o the jackpot header pipe). My only concern was support on the maps. Having bought a slightly used performance package, I didn't have much hope that fuelmoto would support me w/o a cost.
Well - I emailed Jamie about the situation today. He wrote back saying they would absolutely provide any support for maps, etc for me. Though he also said the map that was already on the PCV should be good for me. Now that is great customer service.
Next year when I'm ready to do a cam, guess who I'm going to be turning to. Hell, maybe I'll do the 1000 mile ride to their shop to have them do the install. Be a little adventure.
