I agree with the preset scan.
The first time I used it I was expecting the radio to change to the next tuned preset, but nooooo. Personally I think that is a flaw that should be corrected.

As a beginner, you should not try to learn all the fine points of “knobology” right away.
Leaders need to know more than the “knobology” of the new technology. They must understand the underlying technology’s principles...
Best thing is to practise your knobology before you use it on the road.

Not to burst anyone's bubble but it's not a new word. We've been using it in the industry for years (medical imaging devices). Do a google search for "knobology" and "ultrasound"
was getting cocky till we took a week long road tripp with another couple who both had cb"s on their bikes with helment states so we broke out the lids and the headsets and it took all week to even start to figure out cb and intercom.
I wish they made it so you can scan through your presets!
You can scan the presets just push and hold the up channel button for a few seconds it will start to scan to next channel when on the one you want just give it a quick push and release up and it stops
