You sir, are NOT alone!! For some damn reason, I can't remember which way to push for the cruise. The radio I'm good with, but when I go to resume the cruise, I always end up looking like an idiot, which isn't saying much since I am damn good at that!!
I don't think you're alone...not everyone learns as quickly as others. I would recommend just playing with things while you ride til you do it in your sleep. A small trick I learned that applies to everyday situations....say the controls in your head as you drive (example: Left thumb horn, turn signal, volume button....right thumb cruise, stations, turn signal).
Totally sympathize! I'm getting there with the radio/mode/CD track/station/volume thing... but it's taking me longer than I'm willing to admit to master!
I don't ride at night much and when I do hit the freaking horn almost every time I go to dim the lights. Finally just ride with my thumb on the switch.
I wish they made it so you can scan through your presets!
I can do this with the Biketronics module, not sure about the factory stuff. Hold in the right switch for a few seconds, and then when I hit it up or down, it goes through my presets. Guess you could give it a try and see.
