Just finished installing my Boom Audio XM Satellite Radio Kit
P/N: 76404-06 on my '10 road glide. Took it for a ride and noticed that the volume isnt as loud as the radio and cd sources. As soon as i pass 60 mph I can bearly hear it but when I switch to a cd or the radio its loud and clear. I am running the new JM 7.25 speakers. Any thoughts? Thanks
hmmmm....
I have the HD XM radio hook up, HD wiring harness and HD bracket for the antenna; as well as the 7.25 J&M's and amp from Dr. V-Twin....
no noticeable difference for me....XM is clear and as loud as I wanna hear it....
Good luck...and Ride Safe.
Are you adjusting the automatic volume control up? Don't know if that makes adifference or not. My XM works fine for me. It's not as loud as I would like it but it's ok.
