I'm considering a leather Road Zeppelin for my '06 Ultra
1. Do you sit higher and/or closer than the stock seat?
2. Is the install easy?.....just plug in the power for the air compressor and go?...where is the air compressor located?
3. Any regrets from current owners?.....I'm not as concerned about the price as I am about the looks....I'm used to the sleek look of a Corbin Dual Tour
...a little to much seat for my taste...according to my buddy who has an 06 with the "all leather" Zep..he says it is the most comfortable seat he has ever experienced! He's an older dude and rode to Nashville for the COCs (NCOM) meeting there and he said the Zep was a great investment for his ***...You do sit a bit higher... and if you're lookin' to keep it "sleek"...Faahgetaboudit! Lotta seat there man!
If your a talker and not a rider then the Road Zep is not for you as indicated by some of the responses.
I've ridden well over 1,000 in a day and love the RZ. Swapped it out in less than 10 minutes. It is big but look at your butt in the mirror. lol It will raise you 2" deflated and another 1 or 2 fully inflated. I only inflated mine after 600-700 miles if then to change positions.
Again if you don't ride much then the RZ is comfort overkill.

I rode from Denver to Fort Worth last Sunday and that was after a week in Colorado.....6500 miles on '06 Ultra in 2 months....I've gone to quiet pipes, so I might as well be comfortable too
You can see the look on Steele's post. There are 2 RZ's. The Pillow or Button is Vinyl, Yuk! The more expensive is Leather. I bought mine for $639

I put my 05 Harley on the road this year in May and have logged 18,000 +. Did Bear Tooth a few times, ran the California Coast, Grand Canyon, Sturgis, et. al. Put another 3K on my CVO.
I hope to move up to a 2008 CVO. Had a 2006 but sold it a few weeks back as I'd rather ride the 05 due to room and comfort. There are other seats (custom fitted) that are as good or better than the RZ, check past posts. I'm happy with the RZ and actually like the look on my Ultra. However, although my passenger does not complain I have heard of others that have a problem with the width chafing the passenger legs. My gal likes the air bladders and only whines about a single leg position. I have her wrap them around me. lol I'm looking into the Kuryaken adjustables but am concerned as to how they will impact me when parking and such.
Ride is good and adjustable. I won't say great as I have to stand to "air out" every now and then. It gets a bit warm on long rides. (long, as in 3 or more tanks in a day. solved by using wooden bead seat thingy on long rides...let's the air pass through.) I have run the bladders from full up to full down..changes the ride height by about 2".
Had an issue with a seam unraveling exposing a bladder. Fixed locally for $10.
