How Much Has Your PC-V Map Changed With Auto Tune???
I have run the Auto Tune for a little bit now and the bike is running flawlessly! It did have a little stumble at 2% to 10% range in the 1250 rpm to the 1750 rmp range with the base map. The auto tune has corrected this but my map is far more richer than the original map Jamie had installed in many of the cells. I am getting at best 35mpg highway but that is not a big deal if she is running this good and cooler. No complaints for sure just wondering how the rest of you are affected.
Just wanted to know do you guys see it riching up your maps or what??
Lets hear it there are some crazy threads going right now so I thought we might get back on some substance!
I installed the pcv first. I wanted a idea what to expect and check the pcv before adding the at. I added it 2 days later. I have a 100 mile ride I use to check mpg. with the fuelpak I was getting 42 mpg. With the pcv it went up to 45 and with the at it went up to 46. This is easy riding with 55 mph speed to 65 mph speed, in town riding, country riding, and some interstate.
The bike runs much better, cooler, more responsive.
What AFR and advance are you running? I have set mine to be 14.2/1 at idle and lean out at crusing to 14.8/.1 I am running about +7 deg advance at crusing settings and +5 deg at full throttle. Bike runs good but just want to hear what others are setting theirs at. I get 33 MPG ave including lots of 75 MPH running.
Installed PCV and AT. Took the bike out for a couple rides. Nothing too crazy however, So I am not too sure that the AT has had a chance to do it's thing in all possible throttle positions/RPM's. But from what I can tell, the AT has actually leaned out my numbers a little bit. There were a few -5's. But that was about it. I was kinda hoping to burn through a tank on a nice long ride tomorrow, but mother nature doesn't appear to be cooperating. Can't wait to really start tweaking numbers.

Wow! That's a lot of advance in the cruise range and I'm surprised you don't get some detonation with it set there. Also, a few other notes: DJ doesn't recommend setting any AFRs in the 0% column, including idle, and 14.8:1 is very lean, even leaner than stock. I would knock it down to no more than 14.6 assuming your trike has an oil cooler, a bit lower if not.

At first I set-up my rich base map using the target-AFR settings originally set by Fuel Moto and trims were no more than a few percent one way or the other. At WOT the trims were mostly 0% but no more than 2%. When I changed the target AFRs to much leaner values in the cruise range the negatives came rolling in, often in double-digits, but I expected that. I'm now using a hardware switch to toggle between the lean AT mode for mileage and richer base map when extra cooling is needed.

OK I will knock it down to 14.6 in cruise setting. I think there is no knock - because it has little strain on it at 2500 tom 3250 RPM at 10-20% throttle. I richen it up and back off the advance at 30% throttle. I did set the AFR at 0% throttle and 1000 to 1250 RPM in order to run cooler. The trike may have a more retarded advance than the regular touring bike. I am just learning this tuning, but it runs great.
Have run my PC-V for over a year and was pretty happy with it. However, I like to tinker so I got the Auto tune.
I was running a pretty lean map and was getting high 40's on the highway and low 40's / high 30's in the city depending how much I twisted the throttle.
Now with the auto tune in bike runs flawless. But the mpg seem down of course I've been in the throttle ALOT so its a bad tank to check.
Attached are my target AF table and the trim tables for both cylinders.
OH! the map I started with was the map from Fuel Moto for Jackpot Dyno tuned mufflers, and stage one ait filter on a 08 Ultra, it was their leaner of the two map they gave me, one for better mileage.
I don't know how you guys are getting the jpegs of your maps maybe someone can help me out? I did a print screen but the file is to large to upload?
My ARFs 13.7 in the cruise range is high as it goes 13.5's around that 13.2around those and 13 's in the *0% & 100% and very high rpm range. Timing +4 Degrees at 100% throttle position only at 2750 rpms all the way straight down through 6500 rpms thats it. It was what Jamie had set up for me.
