We've covered air in tyres and shocks. The bike is yours and making adjustments is just fine tuning it to give the ride you want, so experiment with it. Flyer91's advise is spot on!
finally! someone with the same nagging issue.
i have an '09 FLHRC and have tried getting answers to this question before. got a lot of the same response about tire inflation, shocks, etc. all good advice. have made adjustments but i get the same slight, slight "wobble" (is what i called it -- "float" is a better description).
i've finally started to think it may have something to do with the windscreen. (i feel my stock windscreen is too tall, anyway.) but has anyone considered that? maybe i'll pop it off the bike & see if i still feel the "float" above 50. 'course, maybe if i'm hanging on so tight, i won't be able to feel much of anything!
