I just bought a curly cord from Best Buy, 15.99 and it reaches perfect from the windshield bag to the radio. No need to coil up the extra 5 foot of cord..

Man am I behind the times and technically challenged. I had my 15 year old son ( I had him late in life ) go with me to get what I needed. I ended up with a MP3 and the 3.5mm cable. The MP3 is only a inch and a quarter square and a quarter of an inch thick, it has a LED scrolling screen and HOLDS 2000 SONGS!!!!! Plugs right in to the what I thought all these years was an ear phone plug, and plays AWESOME through the stereo! No need for a CD player. Wife and son spent fathers day loading that little bugger with all kinds of sound! Why do we have CD's etc. when you can store 2000 songs on a piece of plastic smaller than the key fob for the car?!?!?! :-)

go buy an Ipod and load it with your favorite riding Metal. Slap in the cassette adapter and get busy. If you hear static and distorted sounds from the speaker, turn your volume on the IPod down to 50% to 75%.
