Today I counted approx 20 bikes on the road. Kind of a low number but then again I was only on the road a short while running errands here and there. They were a mixed bag, mostly Harleys. Suprisingly, there were 5 Road Glides. 2 of them were riding together. Usually they are a rare site around these parts.
Seems like they are getting more popular. Do you guys notice that too? I wonder how many the MoCo sold in the last year.
I notice them more now,. but I think thats because I ride one and kinda look for them. Still though, at any given motorcycle gathering,.. only about 5% are shark nose's,.. most are the old fashioned bus (batwing)
Damn - now that the word is out, I'll have to trade for....ummmm...well, ummmm...screw it, let the masses come to the dark side. Can't think of a bike I'd trade it for.
I rode a Road Glide today in Knoxville at the "National Motorcycle Show" at Chilhowee Park....I didn't really care for it...My arms were really stretched out like I was holding on for dear life...I couldn't imagine riding it for long....But thats just me, I like the Street Glide were your arms are tucked in a little more...

The stock bars suck. Put a pair of 10" mini-apes from a '93 Wide Glide on. Great pull back and height! No more forward lean to the bars at all!
Used to be I'd see one FLTR per every 150 or so bikes... (yeah... I'm a geek... and counted)
Now it's like maybe 75 or so...... getting more popular...don't know what the numbers are....and don't care..... I'm glad most people go for the "common" bikes....makes it easy to find mine, in a crowd
