monkey bagger bar clutch issue?
Curious.Is anybody have any clutch issues with there clutch after installing the Yaffe monkey bagger bars? My clutch is very stiff and ingages all at once.Hard to feather at a complete stop.I was wondering if its the extra bends in the cable as it makes its way to the fairing hole?The cable that I bought from Dr.Vtwin came up a little short so we had to let it out a lot to make it work.I have had to adjust it several times and there is a fine line between working and not working at all.Thought I had it adjusted when I came off the highway last night and couldnt fully disengage at the stop light.I cant afford a hydraulic clutch at this time and hope somebody can shed some light on my problem.Thanks guys for any help.

Make sure it's been lubed if it's a non-teflon cable. That improved mine significantly. Also make sure there's no tight bends. If those are ok, it just needs a full adjustment. Mine is better than stock now.

The cable is just barely long enough not insulation part the actual cable inside.The adjustment on the cable is screwed all the way in except about a turn or so but after adjusting the clutch pack and lubing the cable its works fine.We were tired and in hurry that night trying to get ready for a weekend camp out plus too many beers.Tomorrow nights task to get the dam heated grips to work.Riding to Minnesota sunday morning.Thanks guys for your help.
