She likes it both ways! Sorry couldn't resist...She climbs on after I'm on but she just hikes her leg over the seat and sits right down. She doesn't use the passenger floor board to mount as you described.

Either way works. The less coordinated passengers I have get on first, nothing worse than having someone half way on and trying to figure out how to finish the move.

Why is it that we see so many posts about how to get her on but no one worries about how to get her off?

I get on first then give her my hand to help her mount.

I get on first, stand the bike up BUT I leave the jiffy stand down just in case. Then she climbs up from the left using the passenger floorboard and my shoulder. Never had any problems.

In the same vein but slightly different...If she wants to stay on the bike (if you're getting gas for example) do you? Doesn't happen often with us, but when it does I leave make sure to lock the forks before I get off. And tell her to stay still LOL.

Me first, kick stand up, bars centered, front brake on, her left foot on left peg, her left hand on my left shoulder then she steps up and passes her right over then flops down every freak'n time.
Why do they do that; she never sets down easy, just drops. It's a good thing she doesn't weigh much.

She caught me off guard one day and stood on the peg which about pulled me, her and the bike down so she always speaks to me first to make sure I'm ready before mounting.
I always lean the bike away from her just as she starts to place weight on the left peg which helps offset her weight.

Used to have her get on after me. Got tired of her kicking the saddlebag lid even after being told numerous times to be careful not to. Now I have her get on first and step her right leg thru the driver portion of the seat. She hasn't hit the saddlebag yet while using this method.

I leave the bike on the jiffy stand, it's just easier for me to pick up the bike with her on it than try to balance it with her fumbling around trying to get her short legs over the seat, etc.
