Excessive Vibration - 2003 Bagger
So it turns out that the problem wasn't the mount but the mechanic...
I was looking at the motor and noticed it was touching the frame on the left side. After taking the voltage regulator off I noticed that when I replaced the mount I put the plate back on the wrong way. If you are having a lot of vibration I would suggest looking at where the plate is bolted to the motor. The two bolt holes that connect the plate to the motor should be bolted on underneath the motor, not on top.

I performed another alignment this weekend with the lasers, this time removing the entire tank so that I could really dial in the upper mount. Got rid of much of the vibration, but still wont go 100% straight when letting go of the bars on the freeway. I am waiting for someone to send me the alignment tool so that I can start from scratch. Hope it fixes my problem.
Glad to hear that you got your problem fixed.
I just installed a Glide Pro about two weeks ago. Vibrations at cruising speed are just about "normal"; as if I remember what normal is. That being said, I still have vibrations at idle that are definately excessive. Jake seems to think that it is a alignment issue, and I tend to agree with him. Problem is I can't seem to get the thing dialed in perfectly with the lasers and it also seems as if the mount is not perfectly centerd.
Jake said that he is cutting me up a new mount that should help with the centering problem and also letting me borrow his alignment tool. We will once how it goes once it gets here.

Are you refering to the plate that sits on top of the motor mount? Did you have that plate setting under the rubber mount instead of on top of it? If so, then I don't believe that would be my problem. I never even removed the plate when replacing the mount. I just loosened the bolts on the mounting plate, raised the engine up with a jack, removed/replaced the mount, and lowered the engine back onto it.

It was where the plate bolts to the motor, the side with two holes. I had it on top of the motor instead of underneath. An easy way to check is to look on the left side of the motor underneath the primary and make sure the motor isn't touching the frame. If it is, that's more than likely the problem. Good luck on getting it fixed!
