I have bored the baffles out of my old 883 sporty and sounded great but when i bought my 07 FLHTC i sprung for the SE slash cut and i like the sound of them.
There was a guy here on the forum yesterday that had a set of brand new rineharts for $400. I think that if you're spending that much on an ultra 10 that you should spend the $ on a good set of slip-ons. I appreciate it if you can save money, but many times
"You get what you pay for".
JMHO.
I think I would have to pass, things that seem to good to be true generally are.
Welllllll, I'll tell you what; I bought a used set with 2000 miles on them from a guy on another forum for $200 that did not have scratch 1 on them...and he was a retired cop. He just didn't like the sound of them....
So go ahead and pass...it makes no difference to me one way or the other. Just tryin' to turn somebody on to a good deal.....
Oh BTW; the person who is selling them on this site is a site sponsor...
then again....your in Naples with a good income.....sounds like your not trying to impress no one, except yourself in getting more bang for your buck. Might be worth it to study the ad...inquire thru ebay with questions that needs answers. Who knows ? it just might be a good thing. Then you get back INCONUS, jump for the jackpots. Just another thought.
Ummmm, I am in Naples, but everything here is an arm/leg, with VAT and the exchange rate, don't let anyone fool you. I find myself always turning to the internet, b/c mailing is much cheaper than buying around here at times.
I have an SE Air Cleaner, I am just waiting for pipes and PC V. Got a great deal on the cleaner, will probably just go with what Jaime and Fuel Moto have for those. I like the idea of support. I cannot just run down the road for support around here. If it is their product, I like the way they support the customer.
Cale, owning a H-D over there, I think you had better know how to do simple service work and stuff like replacing slip-on's. There is no way that I would let the italians get near the bike with a wrench. I would never buy anything to go on the bike from the economy either, unless it was from a fellow sailor/marine. That being said, I would be a heckuva' internet shopper. Good luck.
