Well, if that's what you want. The look is also important and personally... them things are UGLY. I suppose the price is right. Ya get what ya pay for.
Yeah, I know, I am probably going to pull the trigger on the Jackpots, was just nosing around. He has quite a lot of good feedback and under his FAQ, he seems fairly knowledgeable. They are dealer take offs, so I figured they would be EPA stamped.
then again....your in Naples with a good income.....sounds like your not trying to impress no one, except yourself in getting more bang for your buck. Might be worth it to study the ad...inquire thru ebay with questions that needs answers. Who knows ? it just might be a good thing. Then you get back INCONUS, jump for the jackpots. Just another thought.
These are OEM mufflers, probably with different baffles OR holes drilled in the baffles. Not a bad deal BUT you could do better for a slip on. Check the Forum classified, always lots of deals there on all kinds of stuff. Personally I wouldn't want them because I purposfully wanted something that did NOT look OEM, but hey, that's just me. I've had 4 sets of slip ons on my bike looking for the right sound/look/performance for me and I bought two sets used on HDF.Good luck and thanks for your service!
I got something like that off ebay: a set of modified stockers with different baffles. Mine were only $80 and the sound is OK. I wish they were a bit deeper, but they aren't bad, at least for $80. I personally wouldn't buy them again because the baffle in one of them is now loose so I know it's a matter of time before I am going to have to replace them. Next time I will spring for a set of used SE's so I know the quality will be there.
