This must be my week for questions! I bought a set of chrome visors(no directions) for the headlight and passing lamps. I got the headlight one on ok, but the passing lamps are giving me fits. The visor goes under the rim of the trim ring, but when I try to put it back on the light housing, it won't go all the way on.
The bulbs appear to be halogen, am wondering if maybe you can't use the visors with the bulbs or am I just missing something?
If link doesn't work, copy & paste into your browser. I believe it is what you are looking for. One thing HD parts does I like is put a lot of instructions on their web.
Those are trim rings, what I have is the visor's that snap under the trim ring. Just can't seem to get the ones on the passing lamps. Thanks for the info.
Ok, I think I figured out my problem, I need different trim rings. Apparently the stock ones won't accept the visors. Guess I will have to look for some rings.
I figured that out, but according to the catalog, a different trim ring is required. I checked with the dealer this morning and p/n 68775-93TA is the trim ring I need.
