My uncle has an 85' electra glide..he's looking to replace his hard saddlebags...up to what year(s) would be compatible with his...looking on e-bay..got some nice used hard bags..but I don't want purchase any if they're not gonna fit.
That's a tough one lowglide. You may have to contact some of those older HD shops and look at the way the current bags are mounted. The dealer would not have a clue, as the year of this bike is a bit too challenging for them. I come to realize that those independent HD shops (especially those who work on Shovelhead and Panhead engines) would know more about bikes in the 80's.
